"The American Nurses Credentialing Center: Magnet Certification" is a wonderful example of a paper on care.
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has designed an award that recognizes healthcare organizations that provide quality care to patients, acknowledges excellence in nursing, and uses innovative approaches in the nursing practice. This award is known as the Magnet Certification, and it is necessary for acknowledging the use of evidence-based practice in nursing, innovations in new technology, programs, or any other initiatives that contribute to positive outcomes in the workplace (ANCC, 2013).

The fundamental role of research utilization proposals is to provide solutions that improved the quality of care in a healthcare solution. In this case, a facility uses evidence in research to implement solutions that helped the facility achieve quality care that improved standards of practice by providing care that was safe to staff and patients. On the other hand, the fundamental significance of the ANCC Magnet certification is to improve patient care while promoting the safety and satisfaction of patients (ANCC, 2013). Consequently, research utilization and Magnet certification are crucial in enhancing the quality of care provided by a healthcare facility.

ANCC Magnet Certification is crucial in advancing nursing standards and practice while fostering collaborative efforts in nursing (ANCC, 2013). In this case, the certification helps a healthcare facility engage its staff in efforts that promoted the quality of care in practice. On the other hand, nurses can only promote quality of care using evidence-based practice, which underlines the critical role of research utilization proposals that address various issues in a healthcare facility. Importantly, solving a problem in a healthcare facility requires joint efforts of the staff.

The Magnet program recognizes the value that nurses and healthcare facilities should place on evidence-based practice and research in nursing. In line with this, it is important to point out that the program recognizes the importance of new knowledge, innovation, and improvements that can only be achieved through nursing research (ANCC, 2013). However, new knowledge in practice can only be achieved by engaging in nursing research in order to develop solutions that were based on evidence in practice nursing. Hence, a Master of Science in nursing is important since it equips an individual nurse with the research skills that improved their competency in research based on the evidence available in practice. On the other hand, innovation is an important force of the Magnet program in nursing. However, a few nurses are innovative since they cannot be able to develop and implement solutions in nursing care since they are ill-equipped to carry out nursing in research. Hence, Master of Science in nursing plays an important role in the Magnet journey since it facilitates the development of innovative practices that addressed the quality of care provided in a healthcare facility.

Improvements in the Magnet journey can only be achieved through evidence-based research. In line with this, nurses with a degree in Master of Science in nursing are better equipped to develop improvements in their practice since they have the essential required to carry out research. Since research develops solutions that addressed problems in a facility, these solutions improve the quality of care provided since it is based on evidence from research.
