DHD in Adults by ADHD is mostly connected and associated with children while this problem still can appear in adulthood. Moreover, those grown-ups who were not diagnosed with this impairment being infants are unaware that this problem can cause their difficulties with attention, memory, learning, time management, and relationships. That is why ADHD in adults its development, diagnostics, and treatment have to be studied thoroughly.Adults can experience from 30 to 70 % symptoms of ADHD. However, the exact reasons why for some people these symptoms cause real problems while others do not feel their influence is not known.

Prevalence of ADHD at adults significantly depends on existence of the accompanying psychological problems and diseases: according to the Mexican research of 2007 existence of ADHD was diagnosed at 5,37% examined from the general population and at 16,8% of ambulatory patients of psychiatrists with not psychotic psychiatric diseases. It is especially remarkable that among psychiatric patients sexual distinctions in prevalence of ADHD were "overturned" in relation to ADHD in the general population and among children: ADHD was established at 21,6% of the female patients and only at 8,5% of the male patients (Montes, 2007).

It is established that that the risk of ADHD decreases with age but the highest chances of ADHD diagnosing have Caucasian male unemployed adults who were in marriage (Montes, 2007). Nevertheless, there are no specific methods of treatment elaborated for adults specifically. Traditional ways of dealing with the disease include behavioral psychotherapy and medication. Revealing mechanisms of ADHD in adults would allow decreasing the quantity of ADHD patients and forecast the chances of genetic discrepancies.
